For the past five years, HM Radio, Inc. has been
contributing to the reduction of the HIV-AIDS infection
among French and Haitian Creole speakers in New York
City through its weekly HIV preventive talk show: STOP-
SIDA. It aims to prevent the spread of the infection and to
guide those who are infected towards the utmost
appropriate and available medical and/or social services.
This year, we want to facilitate some group counseling
through organized workshops in Brooklyn, Queens and the
Bronx. We will recruit volunteers, Social Workers and
medical professionals to assist those with HIV-AIDS
diagnosis and encourage others to test for HIV and to use
preventive measures. We are looking forward to working
with you. Thanks for your support!
